My first pink heritage grande has 2 coils (V1) and the second one I have was a replacement sent to me by Susan because of the black dirt on the coils, she saw the picture that shows two coils and at that point that seemed normal but now all of a sudden she's claiming they never put two coils in their grande.

I have three other non heritage grandes and they all have 2 coils.

Way back in 2011 there was a discussion regarding using stainless steel springs available from Amazon that could be used as coils.  I posted a picture of the package I purchased from Amazon. Maybe someone should try going this route in replacing the coils in their Grande that are producing flakes.

Still trying to get a replacement neon grande but can not seem to get in contact with Susan. Been trying for over a month now. Has anyone been able to reach her lately? I'm so fed up with this company. I've been more than patient.
Yeah, they said they would replace my neon grandes about a week ago. I haven't received anything yet, but I'm hoping it'll be soon. I have had difficulty contacting them in the past though. Just keep trying. I'm not sure if I'm more disappointed that the new and expensive grandes quit flowing, or that they aren't resolving everyone's issue with them in a timely manor. On a positive note about LL, they do seem to get problems resolved eventually. My new red clearview is really nice too (on a side note).

ah, thanks for that bit of information.  let's hope we hear back soon...

i was leaving to go to class and my replacement neon grande was sitting on my front porch.  glad i didn't leave for the weekend since i had no idea it was coming.  sheesh.

I guess I should be expecting mine at anytime then. I thought I would get an email confirmaton first, but I guess not.

Are the replacements any different than the V2s (V3s perhaps)?

Feck this...I would never break the seal on a new lava lamp, send them back to Lava world and demand a full refund.

Failing that, report to trading standards... enough is enough already guys.
