All I know is they smell terrible when leaking/opened... See if anyone in the Wave group has had it looked into.

I don't think anyone has figured it out, but yes, they smell terrible when broken. Whatever it is, one of the components is petroleum-based, judging by the odor.

ask this guy he claimed to know what is in it and is supposedly is working on making a version to sell. He also bought a destroyed Atlantis base and tube off me so that's how I know :)
