Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

my lava has been stuck at the top of the lamp now for several days, i have tried to tap it make it come down, turning it upside down, laying it on its side for 15 minutes with no solution, i have read online that maybe if i pour almost all of liquid out into a separate container then to let it boil in simmering water then re-adding the water then putting the cap back on that this would help, but my concern about this is i have never done this before and dont want to mess up my lava lamp and have to get a new one since i really like the one i have, i just bought it last year and this is the first time its ever done this,  i have also read online about someone turning on a blow dryer and putting it next to the lamp, and that helped it flow again but i have not tried this yet, do u think it would work? my question is there a way to fix my lava lamp without draining the water and trying to get the wax to melt since i wouldnt know what i was doing reallyand i dont want to ruin my lava lamp and i dont know anyone personally that owns one or knows how to fix this problem for that matter, i will also include a picture of it, also the coil work fines, i have the correct light bulb in it a 25 watt, help would be greatly appreciated

it has air bubbles in it, thats why it originally floated (and/or was too hot)

Try hair dryer, it usually works for me

I used our lasses hair dryer on green fluidium did the job brilliant idea!

this fixed the problem, but the first time i did it i only did it for 5 minutes since i saw a post on another website to only do it that long, i had to keep mine on for an hour or so but it finally all dropped to the bottom and is working fine now, thanks for ur help
