Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have a 1977 lamp and it has the plastic screw on lid with a rubber seal inside...I was wondering if anyone had a source for this type of lid replacement.

Thank you

Unfortunately, you cannot buy replacement lids anywhere. Your only chance will be eBay and finding just the lid is near impossible. :( Sorry.

If only you had asked this question about a year ago.  Had a baker's dozen of these bad boys in gold, silver and black, but I sold them all (except one of each color for me).

ha story of my life...keep me in mind...if you come across anymore..I have glued mine back together and it should hold..but it would be nice to have one that was less delicate...i'm getting ready to purge some cloudy liquid..and then see what will be...I may have to re goo the lamp too as it is faded...It's hard to complain about when i got the lamp in a yard sale for less than 4 dollars..thanks for the reply though

You can always just buy a empty bottle that uses a bottle cap and salvage whatca got.
