Light Bulb Question

My starship takes a 40watt sn-11 bulb. It seems it might run alittle warmer than I want. Before I go out again and buy another dimmer, can someone tell me if a 40wtt reflector bulb be used? Do they run alittle cooler? Thanks for the info!

I don't know if a 40W reflector would fit in there, but I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
