Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Looking for a silver cap for a classic 14'' lamp.

I have an old 14'' lamp with a silver base it works fine, but I'm missing the top cap.  I've looked everywhere for one but no luck.  Does anyone have one or know where to get one?

I've heard you can contact Lava Lite support at lavalamp.com and they can help you out.

I heard that too, but I have yet to get a response from them.  I basically gave up on that.
