Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hey everyone.. Hope everything is well in here..

I just saw it shortly, and havent seen it since..

It was black, base and cap, green liquid and black wax.. I believe it was one from their Classic line.. Looked stunning!

I've been looking for it for months, but havent seen it again.. Can someone confirm that i wasnt hallucinating ? Maybe even point out why its not to be found anywhere anymore now ?

Thanks!

I bought my 52 oz version several months ago at Spencer's.  I didn't particularly like it.

Of course, the flow was mostly China-flow - blob-like.  The green color was beautiful and clear, but I just wasn't fond of the black wax flowing in it.  I thought the overall effect was too dark.

Oh i see.. Thats a shame.. The lamp could be awesome i believe.. !

Well, this lava/glitter/fiber motion lamp thing seems to be pretty subjective to me.  What I thought was too dark and unappealing, someone else may really like.

I'd be interested to see what others thought of this globe.

I have the 52oz green/black from spencers. I love the fluid color, but it is really dark with black wax. It looks best with some external light passing through it. Mine has bad "china" flow, however. I posted a video of mine if you want to see it.

My Spencers currently sells that combo, though with a silver base.

Good idea!

saw it on display at spencers. it looked pretty dark. i do have some lamps that seem alittle dark and what i do is back light em. all set up a row of like 3 and put one of those cheap accent lights that you shine onto plants behind it. i love this effect.
