Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

low liquid level

Hi, 

I have a clear/black I think 32oz lava lamp and the flow is mind blowing perfect, however the water level has begun to get lower and lower. I dont want to refill and screw up the flow. What can I do?

Sorry for no pic, my bf has it and just now brought it to my attention.
