Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I thought I'd start a post on neat / rare eBay lava and glitter sales. Sometimes it's nice to remember the sale of a really cool or hardly-seen item.

Please only post completed/closed eBay auctions - please don't post any open sales!

I'll start off with the Princess wall model lava that sold tonight. Anyone here get this? :)

If you post to this thread with a completed auction, please try to include a screen shot, not a link. After so many months eBay removes auctions and for historical purposes, it'd be nice to see what sold.

Did anyone see this recently? Ended with 1 bid at a mere £150.

I'm going to sulk all day! Do you have the ebay info?

Unbelievable!

The link please.

Not much to go on as the details of the auction have all gone and no longer available. All I know is that there was one bidder and the auction ended on 23rd September. One very lucky person nabbed that one. It goes without saying the item was collection only but not sure from where. I would have gladly gone to the Outer Hebrides to collect this lamp!

I'm sulking here too:(

No kidding. I can't believe that would have sold for so low!

Hmmmmmm details from ebay auctions last longer than two months. If this happened it must have been sold through some other type of auction. If this lamp was posted and sold on ebay it must have had the poorest auction description in ebay history.

Did anyone else watch this one on Ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-FLORENCE-ART-COMPANY-GLITTER-MOTION...

Final sale price was $2,000.99. It went up almost a grand in the last 10 seconds of the auction. http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p204767...

Yes, I couldn't believe my eyes.  Bet the seller was happy.

Yep, been watching it since it appeared.

I won this one around Christmas. I am a purple freak and a peace sign lover, so I was SO HAPPY! I got in the correct base and globe and a dented crappy black plastic lid with half of a white sticker on top of it. I am so bummed. The seller said they thought they sent the correct lid and are looking for it. They have offered to refund my $ if I pay return shipping. As if I want to lose money for nothing! They now say they have contacted the other people that they sent things to asking if they shipped the lid to them. However, I think their only sales were clothes. Not sure what will happen but I REALLY want the lid.
