Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I thought I'd start a post on neat / rare eBay lava and glitter sales. Sometimes it's nice to remember the sale of a really cool or hardly-seen item.

Please only post completed/closed eBay auctions - please don't post any open sales!

I'll start off with the Princess wall model lava that sold tonight. Anyone here get this? :)

If you post to this thread with a completed auction, please try to include a screen shot, not a link. After so many months eBay removes auctions and for historical purposes, it'd be nice to see what sold.

Sigh. Another lamp I lost to a certain OGer. :(

Yeah, that was nuts. I have no clue why these are going for so much!
Over $1000!!!  That's insane!!!
I don't even remember bids going this high when the economy was booming! I have used a few Fantasias as refills for my French glitters....of course they weren't the Cosmic Window model.

Ok bringing it down to more realistic prices (and lamps) hears a nice listing on UK Ebay

TBH I would have loved to get this lamp but the only thing stopping me was its too far up north to go and collect and I am not too sure the a lamp (which is a simmler size of a mathmos monster) would have coped on a long car journy.

That's a Cosmic price Man!

A couple other rare French market lamps......

Italian glitter/ashtray....

Neat French glitter with sort of a teal colored liquid and little indentations on the tube. I was tempted, but the shipping would have been 40 Euros.

I was also tempted by that one!
Congrats - I saw that one. Gorgeous.

Oh wait, I was the crazy buyer this time!

Yes I have assured myself that I will be living poorly for the next 6 weeks, but hey, I am going to own a Great condition 1979 Cosmos!

Dam James! your collection would make a grown man cry lol
