So i think its about time i consider a goo kit .. I will give my two grandes this last shot before i dump their contents and goo kit them ..
As i wrote before in this topic
https://oozinggoo.ning.com/forum/topics/few-questions-for-my-grande...
i was going to clean my grandes globe as the wax began to stick to the sides.. I have now done this and it seems to have helped a lot.. No more sticking as it seems.. For now .. However i still have this problem with the wax stuck at the top. As i remember this happened after i added glycerin (glycol) to the liquid before i cleaned the globe, in the hope that it might had eliminated the sticking wax. Should i just remove some liquid and replace it with destilled water untill it stops ?
I also filtered my second grande which went well, however i spilled i around 1.5 inches of its liquid. How can i refill the liquid without changing the flow ?
Also does anyone know how to get a better flow in the lamp without adding salt ? Because adding salt seems to cloud the lamps over time in my experience..
Ive added a picture so you can see how much wax is stuck at top ..
