Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi thanks for the add. I have looked around and wonder if you can get parts. Mine is 16 inches high silver/aluminun? Thanks in advance.

I need to say not the bottle cap (lamp works fine) just the top hat.

Your best bet would be finding another lamp at goodwill, or on Craigslist, etc., and then using the top from that one. I have contacted lava lite for parts before, and they will not send any.

The post I have read indicate LL is not to responsive. In that case I will just make one. I am a machinist and fab guy. Thanks for the reply. This is the first LL I have seen in 10 years going to good will. It lasted for 10 min till I saw it and grabbed it. $6.00 made in 1991.

Awesome!

Caps are just about as rare as hens teeth.  If you can make them you might be able to sell a few.

I will see how the first on goes. My plate is really full right now. All I do is fab one off for people, custom fab/paint Harleys, speakers, and a lot of old transformers and new custom tranys for tube audio.

Will post a pic when I finish one (cap).
