Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Problematic White mathmos baby astros???

At the weekend I bought 2 mathmos baby astros (White base/lid) my first problem.... The baby astro bottles don't fit the base my second problem there's what looks like bits of black gravel in the baby blue lava but in the day light it looks more like dark blue dye which has not disolved properly.

Any thoughts??
