I'm looking for an

 ...Ultra-violet blacklight bulb

 that fits the Mathmos Jet Lamp ... R39?

you may have a problem getting these Si. also i believe you would need a higher wattage than the normal 30watt you would use for the jet.

i dont have any UV wax but the comment on this pic made me think you would need a higher wattage..

getting a higher wattage in R39 would be a problem plus you are limited in size within the lamp.

I had a look on google etc. but couldnt see anything  :(

 

you're probably better off just having a uv light near to the lamp :)

Yep ... that would work - I've tried using a UV tube ...

... the green wax in my green / blue jet is highly fluorescent!!!

It would look so cool to have both the heat and uv coming from the bulb.

hello. i found this cause i want to try the same thing with my fluidium cause i have a problem with the brightness of the yellow. makes my eyes hurt. but since there are 40w uv bulbs and 40w is the max recommended on the fluidium it would work perfect cause the yellow wax is glowing like crazy in black light. 

i just hope that the uv isn't bad for the wax or anything. if i bought the bulb and it worked, i'll post some pic and a video of it.
