Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hey all,

Just joined and am hoping someone an assist me with my problem and search.

My partner got a bit messy one night and broke my lamp bottle, I am unable to get a replacement it seems.  I've tried Lava Lamp, Lava Lite and even the British one, but none can assist.

The lamp I'm trying to get a replacement bottle for is - Series 1100 Lava Lite N 13697.

I originally bought the lamp in the late '80's new from a store in my hometown.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Cheers all,

Paul

There's been times I've seen http://www.endoftherainbow-gifts.com sell just the globes and I have seen eBay sell just globes. Then there are forums like this that sell parts. Most often times, you would have to buy the whole thing. I know it might not be much of a help, but you can get lucky. I would also try craigslist to find a lamp with a similar globe and just use the original base.

Model 1100 is the Aristocrat series.  It uses the same globe as the Century series.

Hey Keith,

Thanks for the information, I did email the company that sells them and the reply I got was that it was a disonctinued line so I couldn't get a replacement.  Now the next problem is finding a retailer in Australia that will have the part for me :(  Cheers

Hey Brian,

Thanks for the assist, have tried ebay many times but not much luck.  Would prefer just to buy the replacement bottle.  Have even tried the Mathemos company in Austrlia and they tell me the ones they sell are not compatable with the one I have?

Cheers Paul
