Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I bought an Enchantress planter awhile back that didn't have flowers. I just picked some up at the local craft store today, but they are "silk". Is there any concern about using these kind of flowers as replacement? I know the original flower rings had plastic-y kinds of flowers (I have some).

I'm just wondering if something so thin (the flower material) could be used and if there's any concern of burning or fire. If anyone has done this, let me know!

Thanks!

Erin it wont get hot enough to burn, not even close. The silk will be fine to use.
