Sellers to avoid on ebay? Example, "slatemd"

I'm fairly new to OG, so I may be posting this incorrectly... if so I apologize.  Do we currently have a list of ebay sellers to avoid based on gooheads past experiences?  I encountered a terrible seller, who has more lamps posted, and I would LOVE to help my fellow gooheads avoid a bad transaction.  My seller uses the user name "slatemd".  My user name is "adam.west.4.real", if you would like to verify that I have purchased, and left negative feedback for this seller.  The most rude, inconsiderate person I've ever dealt with on ebay.  If you would like to see transcripts of our emails back and forth I will be happy to show you.

We do indeed like to keep each other informed of bad sellers on eBay when it comes to lava lamps. What happened?

There is a eBay UK seller I avoid at all costs (not that I buy much overseas).

I bought two lamps from this seller, who refused to combine shipping and charged me $40 to ship them from NY to OH.  When I contacted him because one of the lamps had a huge dent in it, which wasn't listed in the auction, and also had a broken screw cap, he told me I was lying, and that he wasn't going to do anything.  Here is one of his emails in response to my questions to him.  I can't believe how rude and insulting this guy is.  I have bought about a dozen lamps on ebay, this is a first for me.

Yes, based on your past emails about trying to get me to reduce my shipping cost, you feel slighted, and now, you are being vindictive I love it when people try to hold other people responsible for their own decisions and/or station in life. Occupy Wall Street needs more people like you who share in this mind set.

I KNOW how I shipped those lamps, and I have the photos to prove it. Go ahead, dance your little game right over to eBay, I could care less. EBay has all of our correspondences, so I feel comfortable letting them decide what the best course of action (if any) should be implemented. You are now blocked from any future auctions because I really do not want to deal with you again. I will be more than happy to leave negative feedback in return for you.

Wow. How unprofessional! Thanks for the heads up. Sorry you had this experience. :( The personal attacks are just over the top. 

You know what, I have some correspondence with this seller, too, now that I'm looking through my watched items. He's very cocky! I asked him about his shipping costs ($20 to ship a globe). He ended his message to me with "This auction will seperate the collectors from the wannabes." LOL

I'll pass on bidding on any of his stuff.

My concern is seeing Oozing Goo called out in seller listings like we were with a certain UK seller.  Bottom line - expect the seller to be a fellow member of Oozing Goo and tread lightly.

 That seller is actually a member here. Im really surprised the way he is acting as no one here has had any issues with him. People change over time I guess.
