sticky glitterball

hi guys
i have aquired a blue glitterball lamp but i have a problem with the fornular stickin to the side of the bottle, is there anything i can do to cure this. thank you

would it be easy to drain the fluid off clean the bottle and start again, there are also a lot of small gloops floating around, it looks like it needs to reform at the bottom of the bottle, is this a bad idea

I wouldn't as the liquid in a glitterball is oil unlike the normal mathmos lava lamps. I had mine sticking and i just twisted the bottle to loosen the wax. also try running the lamp for 6 hours for two weeks this will allow the wax to loosen and fall to the bottom of the bottle.
