Does anyone know how to thicken wax? I have a Mediterranean and it's wax is just kinda bubbly and thin looking. It doesn't look bulbous and opaque-Does that make any sense?! I'm wondering if I can add paraffin to it to thicken it up? Maybe more perk?
I'm well versed in changing liquid, adding salt, soap etc. Just not too familiar with the wax itself. I would love to salvage it rather then do a transfer.
Thanks!! Jenni

Hi Brian! What kind of dye do you suggest? Anything specific?

Adding and taking away would change the flow of the wax. I would try adding dye first so it wouldn't mess with the flow and would make it look denser instead of on the translucent side.
At least one member has had success with the following company, I haven't tried them yet but plan to soon

I have yet to try to dye wax. I have heard many different ways. I will let experienced gooers expand on that.
Hi Keith! Do you think dying the wax will help it look thicker and more opaque?

Hi Jennifer!!
If it's dark enough it might help. It's probably old wax that has seen it's day though so you might be better off replacing it.
