Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

That's a Doors song, BTW. It seems fitting - that kind of music and Lava Lamps are made for each other.

Is the the end for my lava lamp? The goo rises but won't come down. A pretty big blob is stuck at the top and won't soften. In fact, it looks kind of hardened...when the lamp is cool, I can move that blob around, and it has taken the shape of the very top of the glass.

Model KM-1802, about 7 years old. Using Lava Lite 25W bulbs. The problem remains, no matter what the room temperature is.

Thanks in advance for the help!
