Torchiere Floor Lamp with Lava Lite Bulb

Greetings and Salutations everyone,

I have what I believe to be is a Torchiere Floor Lamp...I wish I actually knew, but I inherited this item from a skanky girlfriend who chose not to take it with her when I sent her packing...

That having been said, the lava lamp itself is roached...The flow is bogus and there is wax caked to the side of the globe, mostly at the top...I read about an aluminum foil solution and so I tried that...no love.

I was considering trying to buy another, similarly sized globe and transfer it's contents into my globe...I don't know how that project would go...any insight?

I also considering getting a mini gookit and trying to frankenstein it that way...but again, uncertain of my game in said application.

Any advice would be appreciated...this lamp is funky and I hate throwing stuff out...
