Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi all

I have 2 32oz midnights direct from the US (thanks verry much Autum), I was thinking that to get them working simply change the plug and the blulb but its not the case as the bulb holder is a lot bigger then the UK lamps.

Does anyone know what 240w bulbs would work or weather it would be a case of rewiring.

Do you mean two 40 watt bulbs? 240 watt bulbs are extremely powerful, extremely hot and not generally used in households.

I know what your meaning tim, your going to have to rewire. Or buy a step down adapter. To step it down from 240v to 110v

240v i mean (thats the voltage in the UK)

yea i guess i would have to rewire as i dont really want to go through a trandsformer.
