I found it on line - havent seen it before but it is cool.

Tim, you're not alone in finding The Wall Movie hard to understand. I've heard alot of people make that statement over the years. Many jokingly said, " I think you need to be high to really get it."  ;)

I think all of us on hear clearly have a good taste in music and are Pink Floyd fans.

I watched the wall movie the other day - good film but is it me or is it really hard to understand.

Check out the beautiful "Wall" of lava lamps performing alongside the Pink during their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Gorgeous Centuries. How fitting. :)

From watching the biography on The Pink, the Wall was loosely based on one of the band members becoming "catatonic" and having to be put away into a mental institution.  I totally forget his name or what part he played in the band, but he was a key player.  I didn't get much from the movie how it could be based on this but Sunshine is supposed to be the catatonic band member.

The member in question was Syd - he was a key member of the band he left and had bad times with his mental health and drugs, he returned one time but was a completely different person

Shine on you crazy diamond was really about Syd and his departure from the band probably influenced the wall album
