Ok, I won't. I'll just watch snippets of it on youtube. And a yellow /green does sound cool for my Snakeskin. I have a clear/ black in it now. I am getting the Cheetah next week which should complete my Safari collection. :)

Don't get to exited about seeing "Born to Boogie" Its cringingly bad...I think they blew the budjet on drugs, shot some "out there" sketches higher than the empire state building then did the edit with the hangover ! Worth watching for the live concert footage that intercuts the film though.....boogaloo.

I read Sir Elton appeared here with T. Rex for a 1971 Christmas special. And I've never seen that Born to Boogie movie. Sounds like a must see. :) Oh.....

and when I'm sad, I slide. ♫

Thanks for putting the link up Deb, good times, I remember it going out on "Top Of The Pops" back in the day.

They were close friends but he never played on any of the recordings as far as I know, and did this and the "Born To Boogie" movie for the crack !

Nice Safari lamp btw...I would'nt mind owning a snakeskin model with yellow/green formula.

Bang a Gong...lol.

Great to see some T.REX & Bowie in there too. "The Slider" was one of the first albums I ever bought.

What good taste you have :)

Yeah I love the album art. Funny thing...a lot of people don't realize there was a Fleetwood Mac before Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.

Great early 70's Fleetwood Mac (Bob Weir (RIP) daze) album.

I have a Grateful Dead top hat too that I got from a guy who bought it while following them on tour. <3  I've seen at least ten of these bands live. Kiss, Ted Nugent, Pink Floyd, Head East, Scorpians, ACDC, Kansas, Cheap Trick, Judas Priest and Foreigner in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Denver. Concerts are still a favorite pastime.

More of a midwestern Deadhead.  Didn't venture too far from the heartland, but did catch 50 or so shows across Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois.  It was a family affair with my family - youngest of five kids who had no choice but to listen to the Dead.  The Greatest Show on Earth!
