LOL! These don't fit in the bases of the lamps I'm modding, but I'm almost positive they'd fit in a mathmos base, and probably a few more cylindrical bases! The bottle is TALL, too! It's almost 3 inches taller than the normal globes of this type!

Yay!!!!   I bet it'll fit in my Jets and Telstars then!!   That'd be a trip!   LOL

That cap might look a bit "odd" on a Telstar though.....best stick to the Jets!  ;-))

there are several brands of filtered water systems that use those bottles as well... Natura for one.  They are available in different sizes so maybe one can be found that fits your particular need?

But yeah, Lib! And a cap from one of my lamps fits RIGHT over the top of the plastic, silver screw cap! It would still look odd on a telstar though. :P

Oh, nice. Excited to see if these will work on any bases. I'm interested.

I know for a fact that the bottles I'm modding are the same diameter as these water bottles, but the bottom of the bottle needs to be recessed in order to fit in the bases I'm using. The jet bottles weren't recessed, though, so that's why I'm thinking they would fit perfectly.
