Where to buy working lava lamp / motion lamp besides ebay/craigslist?

I'm on my third non-working 52oz lava lamp from Spencer's.  I'm not big on buying used stuff from ebay/craigslist.  Where can you get motion lamps that actually work?  Is there a particular off-brand that's reliable?
