Which Bulb ?

I am new here but i will be asking for help from all you smart people on here, I have 3 - 14.5" lava lamps. I'm going to order some extra bulbs for them but my question is which bulbs are the best to use, the round ones that came with the lamps or the reflector bulbs, it calls for 25 watt is that the best wattage to use . thank you all for your help.

If it's a classic lamp use the golf ball shaped ones. They probably sell the proper lights next to the lava lamps in your local stores. These are the exact same ones in the lighting isle and those are probably cheaper.
