Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I can pick this lamp up for $200.  Is it worth it?

Looks like a well-used lamp to me. Personally, I'd pass on it. If the box was clean, and the wax flowed nicely, then I might pay $200. Minty-clean Squiggles pop up now and then. I'd wait for a nice one.

If it had the super rare starlight holes it would be worth $200+.  But white squiggles like this are quite common and generally sell for 1/2 that.  The box may be a plus but to me they are a pain to keep around and keep from getting ruined, etc.  Offer the seller less maybe?

I, personally, would pay about $50 for this. It's a nice 60s lamp, but it IS cloudy, and the box is rough. It's one of the most common pre-1970 lamps, in my opinion even more common than a 1960s Century.
