Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

What are some ways that you hide wires from your lamps?  Any advice would be great!  Right now, I just shove the wires out of view in a somewhat orderly fashion.  They are out of view, but still look like a rat's nest!

I have mine all coiled using velcro straps and they just lie nice and neat.  I see no point in "hiding" them, without the cords, there is not light, kinda like hiring a DJ and then not wanting to see speakers.

I wish Nikola Tesla had lived long enough to finish his work on transmitting electricity through the air without wires...

I work hard to hide every electric cord in my house. If there's several in one place, I line them all together with zip ties.  On single cords, I gather all the excess length, loop into a small bundle and zip tie it in place just out of sight of whatever surface the device is sitting on. You could try googling the subject, cuz I do recall seeing some pretty ingenious solutions here and there.  Good luck!

isn't that the truth!  tesla was such a bad ass.

i do the same with wires throughout my home.  zip ties are your friend!  i'm thinking about using some sort of cable tray to contain the wires.  right now, i have my lamps on top of a floating IKEA shelf and the wires are just sort of crammed inside of the space where the shelf bracket is.
