Hello guys,
I'm new here but I have about 15 lava lamps already. But I realy liked the one they made for Halloween (clear liquid with orange lava) and they are out of stock. And according to the support they won't make them.So if anyone here has one that is willing to sell to me I'll be very gratefull.

I've got one, but I'll be honest and say that I'm unimpressed with the lava. I've contacted Mathmos with a picture, and they said that's it's normal for these. I'd be willing to sell the globe, but I love the base, and already have a different globe being shipped from Mathmos in a different color. Pic below if interested.
Ok,I want to buy your bottle. How much will you want for it+shipping?
Have in mind that I'm from Bulgaria when calculating the shipping.
Well, I would be willing to sell the globe for $75. The bad news is that the lowest cost for shipping I could find would be $275!
Wow that's way too much. Not worth it in my opinion. So I'll pass.
Try running the globe several times, new globes need a break in period.
My purple/yellow flowed horribly for the first month, lol!!! It was just starting to be ok and i had to steal her base........i'm with keith.......try 8 hours on and 4 off. Burst it like that for a week at least and see if you notice any difference in the flow....
Can anyone post an overall picture of this lamp?..I'm new to this one and would like to see it & it's base better.
Verax- are you unimpressed with the orange lava, because it's a bit bubbly and has what looks like pieces of unmelted wax in it? Has the lava appeared this way since the first run?
I'm asking, because I bought one of these for Libby (Marley's Ghost), and its lava is silky smooth.
However, my Anniversary lamp has red lava that is exhibiting the same bubbly/waxy pieces characteristics. I've opened it up and emptied off the liquid and then let the red lava heat on the base for an hour or so. Put it all back together, but it didn't change anything. I'm about to take a couple of 90s LL red lava/clear liquid bottles and fix it for good! It's a beautifully crafted lamp, but the damn bubbly lava is driving me crazy! LOL
Did Mathmos say which lava/liquid globes are normal to have this bubbly/waxy pieces lava? I'd like to avoid them.
Rick, look in Pete's pictures (Aladdin 2 Lava). He posted some of that lamp a week or two ago.

Not too many bubbles, but it looks like there are flakes in it. The Mathmos rep said that some appear this way, but did not specify which.
You're most welcome, Rick. It was more around the time of Halloween, and his lamp appears very smooth with no bubbles or flaky gunk in the wax.
