On your found Living Jewel, Pete...  I think I'd filter all of the glitter and small pieces out, and then replace with new glitter.  I believe the Living Jewel glitter is the same size as my large holo square glitter.  I also have some large non-holo square glitter coming tomorrow for testing.  Non-holo is probably more original to the Living Jewel.  I'd be happy to post some to you.

A funnel and coffee filter work well for filtering the liquid.
