A 20 oz black/clear china that I stole in 2012 at a Christmas white elephant gift exchange. It was cloudy, but thanks to this website, I've regoo'ed it to a blue/clear. Nice.
My Collection Includes this many Lava Lamps:
20+ (January, 2013); 70+ (April, 2013); 100+ (June, 2013) -- I've been giving away lamps to friends and family, and they are on their way to developing the goo addiction, too! :>)
My Favorite Lava Lamp is:
Florence Art. Mathmos. The Heritage Neon Grandes. 50th Anniversary Grande. The Giants. The Colossus. Vintage Glitter, Lava, and Fantasia lamps.
But of course we are, we need all the support we can get! Our spouses might not be as thrilled with our "slight" (slight understatement) addiction as we are.....and I really don't have leprosy. LOL Love your lamp!!
Kirk, Here's a picture of a big trophy. Please pretend it is a real trophy, like the kind they hand out at Wimbledon. Thx for your donation. It will go toward the platform which has steep fees.
I have just found a tired old battered Living Jewel in a Bric a Brac shop, the globe and formula is clear and the glitter flakes are clear and sparkly. However there is a lot of small dust like particles in there. Any tips on how to open it up and filter please matey.
Thanks for the advice kirk, but having taken a closer look at the T shaped metal cap and amount of sealant I think I will leave it as it is (lazy !) I assumed being a Crestworth it would be screw cap like their Astro lamps. I don't see the dust once its in full flow. I love your glitters you and Lib gifted me, pure stardust :)
Hi Kirk! I am new to this page but I was wondering if you would possibly be able to help me out in obtaining some information on a lamp I found that was my late grandfathers. It is Heat Tape Stardust Light in gold.
Thank you once again !! Love the lamps only have two done but finishing the third as I type this message ! Only have one question ? What watt bulb ? 40watt like the grande long strand ? Or less ?
