My bad too, Deb. I should have mentioned that yours was not this color either. But I couldn't remember what color you said yours was. I was just telling Derek that you had one like this one, but I meant the two piece base.....DUH
Ooops, my bad. Not my lamp. Was just referring to the library and to see who had one. Also Erin's Milky globe thread. Mine is red. I would prefer this color. Will post pics soon.
It really is a nice color, isn't it? I have never seen one like it before. You are very lucky to have one!! I'm jealous. LOL
Ah, now it makes sense. I have that exact same lamp. It is an awesome color combo,
Derek, the picture above is from 2008, and is not Deb's lamp. She has one like it that does needs filtering.
It doesn't look cloudy.
Good luck, Deb. If filtering works, let me know, please. I have 3 I need to filter too! I have a hard time telling an "old" Century from the 90's ones.
Scored one of these mid 60's 2 piece Century lamps off eBay. $30 shipped. It has a milky globe which I was aware of, so gonna attempt to filter it today. Wish me luck. If it doesn't clear I'll attempt my distilled water formula. Funny how little wax is in these old globes.
