Hi Fog Rider, beautiful Astro!  You did a fine job and it looks like you've got very nice, solid lava.  My Astro lava looks transparent.  Any way to make the lava look more solid?  Boy, you've got a nice one!  Best, Joe

Series 2500, Astro Lava Lite, produced for a short time at some point in the 70s. The cap is gold, matching the spiral ring. I've only ever seen three of these: this one (which Fog Rider restored beautifully - believe me, I saw it "before" in person) and two others in red/clear with nonfunctional lava.
