Does anyone have any more info on this lamp? I often wonder if it is just a faded out purple yellow but it seems that it would not look like this.

This is another view of my clear orange giant. I put a grande cap on because it covers more of the gap at the top of the lamp. The base however is from a giant although this one originally came with a back base and cap The fluid used to be more of an amber color but over the years has faded to more of a clear with light orange. It is a bit stubborn and I have to use the hottest running base I have.
