Hi Loren, top lamp wire simply hangs down the back but it is not too intrusive. Bob

Yes I was thinking of Grant's

Does it have a dent in the top metal cap? Grant's did if so this is the one he sold probably.

Maybe Grant will chime in on this he has or had one of these. Maybe this was one of his?

Beautiful. How is the top lamp wired?

Is that the one that was for sale on ebay.co.uk from a member of OG, or another one?

Very well said about the value of something Bob.

I haven't seen one for sale either, going by other rare lamps sold on ebay, I would hazard a guess of at least £200 for this little gem !

Thanks for the friendship add :)

Pete.

The Mk1 lamp was not a lucky find price wise but hope I paid a fair price, not sure, but we both love it, haven't found another to compare value, have you any idea?

I always said the cost of something is what someone is prepared to pay and the value what enjoyment that person gets from it. I always seem to find it easy to know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Have had a couple free via freecycle, mostly wrecks, but it has allowed me to experiment with water replacement fluids following online guidance and finally successfully brought a Crestworth Astro mini back to life.

Have just bought two more Crestworths, waiting delivery, one a wreck and one working.

Bob
