I may run an axle back Magnaflow. MAYYYYBE get 1mpg boost and get her growling. I was about to get a winch, as a joke, that was rated at 2000lbs for $50, installed on the rear. Then I decided it would be a stupid joke and put me out $50. Winch is definitely needed for my rig too, I dislike having to call up buddies with winches to see if they will come watch me swim in the deep end JUUUUST in case. Also need new meats for the steel.

I had planned on moding mine for months now but have not done anything yet. I have some equipment pulled off of my previous JK but have not installed any. It is coming just been too preoccupied with other stuff.

I don't run any custom exhaust either. Mine is still all stock at this point. Do need a new winch though.

I don't run any custom exhaust at this point.  I'm still saving up for winch and lighting.  :)

Hey Verax, Critter and Brad, are/were you running any custom exhaust on these bad boys? I want to rip my OEM muffler to get better tuck and maybe a lil growl. I have a Magnaflow system on my old Cherokee and am tempted to donor some of it out to the Wrangler but I don't have a welder. I would like to use my stock pipe configuration but may open up to a cat back revamp if needed.

i wasn't aware fiat was in charge of the jeep brand.  bummer.  at least there will be plenty of older jeeps on the market for years to come in case they run jeep into the ground.

Brad.  Yep absolutely been up there Gilmer is 20 minuites North for me.

By the way, nice rig too.  I made the mistake once by being "Jeepless" for a few years, I had sold my 1985 CJ and that was a mistake.  I will never do that again.

I do think my current JK will be my forever Jeep I cannot imagine getting rid of it ever.  Oh, and also because  I fear the fate of the Jeep brand, since '07 Chrysler has shown that they are willing to degrade and water down the brand....now with Fiat in charge the future is even more uncertain.

critter - have you ever been to barnwell mountain in gilmer, tx?  i used to wheel out there about a decade ago.

when time and money allow, i'd like to build a '93 YJ.  love the circular headlights but want something "newer" with leaf springs.  coil spring suspension kits are $$$.  SOA is cheap!
