hi jonas. the cap has a sticker on the inside written in green 1971. the wax is more of a light sea blue not really green like the box indicated.

I think you may have a replacement globe. What is the date inside the cap? Circa 1971, the blue-liquid lamps still This one has great flow, whatever the case!
