"hi jonas. the cap has a sticker on the inside written in green 1971. the wax is more of a light sea blue not really green like the box indicated."

"ok if it's stationary, i'd leave it be, especially given how nice the flow is. the process of cleaning it from the globe may cause other issues like cloudy fluid."

"thanks Duane and Brad, yes it is stationary, it just sits at the bottom of the globe even when running the lamp"

"great flow on that lamp for sure! it seems to happen to lamps that are stored for a long time. at least in my experience. i don't think it will affect the flow, but it may start breaking off and entering the wax. i am not entirely sure. does it…"

HELP! white stuff in wax?

hi everyone, was wondering if anyone had an answer as to what this white powder stuff at the bottom of the globe is? its an older lamp (dated 1971 on inside of cap. it doesnt appear to affect the flow any so far. is this somthing i should be worrying about? can it be or should i mess with cleaning it out somehow. the lamp has never been ran but a handful of times by myself so not sure if it will affect the lamp any down the road. any help is appreciated. thanks!
