Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

My display has come a long way from it's origins of a college student with a dimly lit shelf in the basement. It's 2020 now and things sure have changed. Each lamp is controlled by a smart outlet plugged in to some daisy chained server power distribution units. They come on with a schedule of a few a day 7 days a week. I have safety timers put in so lamps like the glitter lamps and consort style lamps only run for 3 hours to prevent damage. All placed on a fireplace mantle painted a nice contrasting black and white.
