You are exactly right - the glitter in the lamp on the right came that way. It was a store model, so it had already been run a bit. I didn't mind it tho. I haven't run that lamp in months now.

Nice, photo, do keep us up to date as to over time if the glitter begins to CLUMP together as it has been reported to happen with the newer lava glitter lamps. I can't tell but it might be happening to the lamp on the right or just a different type of glitter, hard to tell unless we see a closeup photo.

What helps me to get photos like this: external flash, correct camera settings and post-processing in Adobe Lightroom! I still think Lava Lite (er, sorry, LIFESPAN BRANDS) should hire me for their product photos in exchange for free lamps. :)
