Looks like the Chinese factory is still hell-bent on cutting costs even after Lava Lite tries to put a stop to it.

A recall is fine and dandy, but they need to drastically step up their internal QA to insure garbage like this never leaves the damn factory.  What about unsuspecting souls who purchased one, saw it was cloudy and said, "ahh, not so bad since its only $20 I'm tossing in the garbage."  Its just bad business.

Eventually all of the bad neons will be pulled from the shelves. Lava Lite and Spencers decided that the lamps were functionally unacceptable. Dale was the one to initiate this partial recall. There will be replacements soon that will be of much better quality. Lava Lite does care about quality, and is determined to make sure all lamps sold from this point on will be of high quality.
