Finally found a UK Sata-Lite with tinsel strand glitter. These were made by Hunter in the 70's and feature a copper base/cap and solvent liquid that's so sensitive to heat you could make the glitter flow from just the heat of your hand on the cold bottle! Usually the silvering on the glitter wears away over time on these, but this one must have hardly been used.

@Astralav, Exactly. I think a lot of vintage fast glitters lose their silvering on the glitter from being run too hot, not from the solvent itself as I used to believe.
So it's like you're using 15w?
It's perfect for fast glitter like living jewel.
hot enough to run fast without generate too much heat to destroy mirror plating on plastic flakes
@Astralav, It has a 25 watt UK 220v bulb, so it's a lot less bright on 120v U.S. current and it's the fast glitter. The little heat it gets doesn't even make the base warm but is enough to really get the glitter going.
What's the bulb wattage?
So your's is a fast glitter one?
I think they also also made slow glitter with same tinsel strand.
I got one which arrived broken, and I picked up the glitters one by one to make it works with propylene Glycol (slow glitter)

Nice, very nice! Mine has the silver gone off the glitter, sadly. I think I like the base you have better; mine has a slightly similar base and cap, but less flowy. Still has that orange liquid, though; best color with copper, I think!
An awesome lamp in one of my fav colors!! The tinsel strand glitter is really nice, great snag!
Wow. Amazingly perfect. I've always wanted one of these. Congrats!
