Casper

"Casper" is my first homemade lava lamp. It uses an existing globe and base from a defective lava lamp.
It uses a homemade mixture of perc and tealight candlewax.

The fluid is a 1/4 windshield cleaner, 3/4 water mixture, and I used iodized (!) salt for it.

The flow is great, no clouding, and the perc mixture is surprisingly stable.

The bulb is a 25W reflector one, which however overheats the lamp after 2-3 hours. The ideal would be 15-20W reflected, it seems....
