Another of my handmade lava lamps. Despite the name, it's probably the most carefully crafted and less hazardous: it uses a sturdy Single Malt Whiskey bottle with thick glass, saltless fluid (it's just distilled water + a small dose of antifreeze, plus fountain pen ink - no salt at all!) and hi-quality solid green wax + some white canning wax,

I posted about the salt-free method used for this lamp in the Scientists group too. It's not entirely mess-free, but the end results are well worth it. In theory, it should be more durable than my other lamps, but only time will tell!
