Yeah. My jet uses a 30w reflector bulb. It uses the same type of bulb as my astrobaby and Telstar.

the socket sits about the same height as the uk one. maybe a little lower.
my room is about 70-80 Fahrenheit,

im using a 35 watt golf ball style bulb, but i think i may try and find a 40, maybe even a 50 and put it on a dimmer. or just try a flood light. thats what LampHead suggested.
