It's finally on the proper base

I bought this globe from Goodwill a year ago and have always used it on a china base, or my century but it just doesn't look as good on the century base. Finally I found a USA aristocrat (blue and yellow, pics are on here) and so I can finally put this globe on the proper base. I took the picture completely level, the base seems to be tilted a little. It's pretty noticeable when looking directly at it. Not sure why it is, it's in perfect condition with no scratches or dents.

Comment by Ian on June 30, 2014 at 6:41pm: It's actually a purple and yellow. The camera makes it look more pink, but in real life it is vibrant pinkish orangeish yellow.
