Made by S. Vera, maker of two known boilers (in the 4Boilers image) this cute item is one form of brandy pipe. Various forms exist, and some are inexplicably and incorrectly marketed today as "port pipes" or even "absinthe bonques". The narrow opening of a proper brandy snifter makes inhaling easy but sipping difficult, and these allow you to cradle the bulb in your hand, inhale the concentrated vapors, then sip through the stem.
