It has activated carbon in it which will damage the master fluid. You should look for a hollow fiber membrane filter. There is a filtering guide on the Lava Library here. https://lava-library.com/home/cloudy-lamp-repair/#Repair-by-Filtering

Yea I know. The carbon part of the filter is removeable. I went ahead and bought it because of that. After you remove the carbon part, all that's left is 2 hollow fiber membrane filters. Theres one before the fluid goes into the hose and then theres one inside the canister itself. It works great. Filtered a Grande in less than 10 minutes yesterday. Thanks for the reply!

Do not use this filter - Autumn is 100% correcto- mundo.

The carbon part of the filter is removable. After removing the carbon, at that point, its just 2 hollow fiber membrane filters powered by an electric pump. Ive had 2 Sawyer minis that did nothing. So I tried this electric pump and it does wonders.

If it's removable then yeah you found a better filter than what I have been using!

That's it right there. The carbon is just a little cartridge that you can either choose to attach or leave off. I filtered 2 Grandes in less than 10 minutes a few days ago.
