interesting, i just bought that lamp on ebay, no wonder the cord looks all tampered with, that explains it. and no wonder its such a nice lamp too! but mine is half empty and it looks like the lid was glued on.... any suggestions for me ?

Oh wow, I love these! I was confusing this with a Cosmic Window. This is a great lamp! It's the British version of the Gemlite!
